ViewSonic Introduces Solutions For The New Hybrid Environments

Remote learning, emergence of eSports and new forms of home entertainment were some of the topics discussed during the virtual press conference attended by Ricardo Lenti, ViewSonic General Manager for Latin America, and other executives from the region.

ViewSonic, global provider of visual solutions, held a virtual press conference where company executives presented different concepts on digital transformation as well as trends in hybrid education, the agile world, gaming and home entertainment.

Ricardo Lenti, ViewSonic General Manager for Latin America, welcomed and  introduced the team and gave a brief overview of the future plans of the company. “ViewSonic continues to develop display solutions that fit the lifestyle of any user, from the one who operates in an agile work environment and hybrid education, or the one who simply enjoys entertainment regardless of whether it is video games or television shows,” he said. “We are very happy to share with the press the latest trends in each segment we represent and the innovations and benefits of our products and solutions.”

The event was divided into two parts: Solutions for hybrid education and the agile world and work at home, as well as gaming and entertainment at home.

Alex Carlos, Territory Manager for ViewSonic in Peru, Colombia and Ecuador, presented the trends around hybrid education, where he mentioned the benefits for both teachers and students, either at home or in the classroom and the necessary tools to create an interactive learning environment.  He also explained how to optimize learning using the MyViewboard platform that integrates very powerful tools that allow you to configure hybrid classrooms for both face-to-face presentations and remote students. He also presented the novelties in the portfolio such as the series of touch monitors, ViewBoard ID, which allows teachers to expand their digital desktop space, improve workflow and easily interact with students.

In turn, Pablo García, Territory Manager at ViewSonic for Mexico, addressed the agile world and work at home. He detailed the two different types of collaboration: synchronous and asynchronous. The first requires tools that the manufacturer provides such as the myViewBoard ecosystem, along with ViewBoard interactive displays or other solutions such as the new VG2440V monitor that integrates a 2 MP camera to collaborate with others and conduct videoconferences from your desktop, as well as USB-C notebooks, the TD1655 (with touch) and the VG1655 (non-touch), both with an ultra-slim profile that help transform the home office or hybrid learning environment, increasing productivity. For asynchronous collaboration, the executive recommended essential tools such as Internet connection, access to the cloud, Office 365 with several of its monitors including those of the ViewBoard ID series.

To follow up on the presentation, Marcos Paredes, Territory Manager of Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina, exposed the trends of the gaming market, the differences between gamers (enthusiasts and professionals), the benefits and characteristics of gaming monitors, the digital transformation of the gaming in education and eSports, the emergence of gamer academies and, finally, on the innovations and differences between the VX and XG families of gaming monitors.

Julio Ross, Territory Manager for Central America and the Caribbean, ended the presentation by referring to the new ways of home entertainment, including portability, 4K solutions, connectivity and new projection technologies.
