Dell Technologies introduces the new Dell XPS 13 laptop, the most powerful notebook to date, built on a powerful Intel 12th generation Intel platform that delivers better performance with lower power consumption, cutting-edge minimalist design and enhanced features that elevate the user’s creative experience.
Inspired by the Z generation, the new Dell XPS 13 Plus is Dell Technologies’ most powerful ultraportable laptop, it was designed for a 28W 12th generation Intel Core processor (up from 15W on the previous one), cooled by larger fans that provide 55% more airflow without increasing noise or temperature.

It’s an XPS 13 Plus just as light and thin as its predecessor that delivers more power without increasing its size or weight.
The sleek keyboard, function row, touch pad and palm rest deliver a clean, iconic appearance that is light to the touch and complemented by curved, comfy edges throughout. There’s no wasted space – the modern, edge-to-edge interfaces simplify the overall design to deliver a clean, harmonious surface.
The XPS 13 Plus is available in timeless colors, a light (Platinum) and dark (Graphite) with an enhanced surface finish that is premium and serene. We’ve eliminated distractions by creating cohesive tone-on-tone design details for a unified appearance. The overall experience is a modern aesthetic that is intentionally crafted to emanate the pinnacle of simplicity.
Designed with larger keycaps (also known as zero-lattice), the keyboard is comfortable, smooth and efficient with every keystroke. The top row of the keyboard is now cleaner, thanks to a new capacitive touch experience that allows you to switch between media and function keys easily. And speaking of clean and simplified, the traditional trackpad has been replaced by a seamless glass touchpad that provides haptic responses to the touch.
Heightened senses for heightened creativity
Graphics and sound have been completely reinvented on the Dell XPS 13 Plus. Its incredible InfinityEdge display with up to 4K resolution and Dolby Vision HDR support continues to deliver a virtually borderless image and the number of display layers have been reduced to improve clarity and reduce weight.
When it comes to creating your own content or consuming the content you love, users will be able to enjoy louder sound and broad dynamic range with an improved quad speaker design. Two up-firing speakers are hidden underneath the keyboard, while down firing speakers are on the base, resulting in incredible sound for music, movies and conferencing.

The new Dell XPS 13 Plus is made from renewable energy sources, which significantly reduces the carbon footprint of aluminum, and is 100% recyclable, so it can be reused in new equipment, meeting Dell Technologies’ 2030 Goals. The minimalist approach extends beyond design to encompass the production and packaging process, through a simpler and more efficient manufacturing process that honors Dell Technologies’ commitment to being environmentally friendly. Eliminating steps and reducing finishing and materials – but elevating those that remain – reduces scrap and lowers the overall carbon footprint. All new packaging is made from 100% renewable or sustainably sourced materials, with paper documentation from sustainable sources that increases its recyclability.
