Cisco Brings Industry Professionals from the Region Back Together at Cisco Connect

From November 8-10, Cancun will once again be the center of attention for the Latin American IT industry to gather at Cisco Connect LatAm, the evolution of the leading industry events developed by Cisco, which brings together customers, experts and business partners from different market segments and levels.

At Cisco Connect LatAm, participants have access to educational and training sessions in an environment that fosters the exchange of ideas in Spanish.

“At Cisco, we are very happy to return in person to this leading event that is so important for the technology market in Latin America,” said Laercio Albuquerque, vice president of Cisco for Latin America. “At Cisco Connect LatAm we will share with our customers and business partners our vision of the future and innovation, the tools required for digital transformation and the path to follow for the implementation of successful hybrid work. It will be a time of much learning, culture and knowledge exchange.”

Attendees will have access to:

  • Technology Forum for IT staff and developers consisting of working sessions focused on the different architectures present at Cisco Connect LatAm.
  • Business Forum organized for IT managers and lines of business through which success stories and panels with experts in the different architectures will be presented.
  • Executive Forum where CxOs meet, through which business leaders, with a focus on technology, have the opportunity to collaborate with their colleagues from different industries. The event brings together executives in a program that allows them to increase their leadership skills and expand the value of their organizations.

In addition, there will be an Engagement Center where several activities will take place, including Meet the Expert, where participants have the opportunity to talk with a senior development engineer, Cisco Fellow or an executive and have one-on-one conversations in which they can ask specific questions or pose challenges.

Cisco Connect LatAm will feature the Partner Forum, focused on content of special interest to them, as well as activities for executives, sales, marketers and technical leaders for all types of partners.

Additionally, participants will have access to Expoconnect, the exhibition area designed to welcome the Cisco channel ecosystem that highlights Cisco solutions for attendees and in which around 100 partners and technology providers will present the latest in their portfolio. Cisco solutions will be presented at Cisco Campus where participants will have the opportunity to see more than 30 demonstrations of technologies to transform infrastructure, enable hybrid work, all under secure environments and where Cisco re-imagines applications through Full Stack Observability, native cloud and security applications.

Furthermore, attendees interested in taking certification exams at Cisco Connect LatAm will be eligible for a special discount of up to 75 percent.

In 1997, Cisco was the first company to develop a summit that became the main meeting point for customers, IT experts, channels and technology specialists in the region.

Cisco Connect LatAm will be held at the Barceló Riviera Maya hotel and will have a limited capacity.
