Lumu Technologies Responds to Growing Ransomware Attacks in Latin America and Strengthens its Regional Team

The new collaborators will be dedicated to strengthening the marketing and sales area with a focus on customer experience and satisfaction

Lumu Technologies introduces the new members of its team, in response to the high demand for its security solution. The new team aims to continue Lumu’s mission, which empowers all Latin American companies, regardless of size or vertical, to operate cybersecurity efficiently.

The new collaborators who will be dedicated to strengthening the marketing and sales area with a focus on customer experience and satisfaction in Latin America are:

Luisa Peña, Customer Success Director for Latin America: the Systems Engineering Management Specialist has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry and has served in several leadership roles in operations and strategic accounts at Cyxtera and Appgate. At Lumu Technologies, Peña will lead customer experience improvement and innovation projects for the implementation of cybersecurity services in business operations.

Pedro Pérez, Business Development Manager SoLa: Sales Management professional, with experience in account management and cloud services, network infrastructure architecture and design, and cybersecurity consulting services. In his position, the executive will aim to improve customer engagement with high-quality solutions, through technological innovation to enhance the positive user experience.

Miguel Inacua, Customer Success Manager for Mexico: Cybersecurity Consultant, in his career he has held positions as Cybersecurity Manager, Customer Solutions Engineer and Product Specialist. He will be in charge of improving the customer experience in Mexico, covering cybersecurity services to continue leading the industry, focused on one of the countries with the greatest impact in Latin America.

Norma Álvarez, Business Development Manager for Mexico: where she will work to bring the company’s message on how to operate cybersecurity in an agile and efficient way for companies in the era of digitalization. In recent years, I have worked on digital transformation projects in companies in the financial sector, achieving significant growth in the verticals and territories in which I have worked.

Jennifer Yepes, Sales Development Representative for Cono Sur: the executive will articulate the marketing and product design efforts to expand the sales area in countries in the region. She has experience in B2B marketing, lead generation efficiency and initiatives for steady revenue growth, which will enable the organization to ensure the effectiveness of cybersecurity services and generate ROI.

René Fermín, Customer Success Manager for the Southern Cone: his position will be focused on customer success management and the implementation of strategies and actions to meet specific objectives during the user experience.

New Chief Technology Officer

On the other hand, Jeffrey Wheat, has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Lumu Technologies, the American will be in charge of improving service execution and product development for customers throughout the region. Jeff brings more than 30 years of practical experience in cybersecurity intelligence and cybersecurity operations, including engagements with the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE) and NASA. Most recently, he served as CISO at Blue Team Alpha, where he educated clients on the current threat scenario and served as an advocate for a strong cybersecurity practice.
