ASUS announced its full line of commercial solutions designed for the business and education markets, with five key models unveiled at CES 2022, including the ExpertBook B5, B5 Flip and B3 Detachable, the ExpertCenter D700 series and the ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5.
ExpertBook laptops are designed for business success in style, with a minimalist, precision-engineered chassis that pushes the limits of lightweight, while featuring a host of protections that adhere to the stringent U.S. military MIL-STD-810H standard, enable stress-free telecommuting and travel with incredible all-day battery life.
They are also designed with many cutting-edge technologies to improve work efficiency on the go, including up to WiFi 6E for ultra-fast and stable connections AI noise cancellation for clear calls and conferencing on the go, dual SSD RAID support for reliable storage, and ASUS NumberPad for fast data entry. They are also packed with features to protect personal privacy and business data, including an integrated fingerprint sensor for biometric login and a TPM 2.0 chip for data protection.
ASUS ExpertBook B5 Series
ASUS ExpertBook B5 is a series of ultra-lightweight notebooks weighing around 1 kg available in traditional Clamshell and Flip forms for the ultimate in portability, flexibility and clarity. The new ExpertBook B5 (B5402C) and ExpertBook B5 Flip (B5402F) models, introduced at CES 2022, feature expansive 14-inch displays, complementing the existing popular 13-inch ExpertBook B5 models to offer a complete lineup for businesses.
The new ExpertBook B5 and B5 Flip notebooks feature a minimalist, precision-engineered chassis that pushes the limits of lightness. Both the top and bottom covers are cut from pure aluminum, while the area around the keyboard is made from a magnesium-aluminum alloy. These carefully constructed materials reduce the weight to just 1.25 kg, while ensuring that the machines are ready for the rigors of daily use in the office or on the move.
B5 and B5 Flip are also ready to go, with an Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Xe graphics, 48 GB of RAM and WiFi 6E, ensuring speed, excellent graphics performance and ultra-fast wireless networking. They also feature two SSDs to provide a huge capacity of up to 2TB and extreme speed data reads and writes. These drives also support RAID 0/1 technology for faster operation or increased data reliability.
The ExpertBook B5 and B5 Flip 14-inch displays offer a wide viewing area for efficient productivity. They are bright, clear and vivid, and have an anti-glare finish to prevent distracting glare, helping users concentrate on their work. The B5 Flip’s screen is touch-sensitive and supports finger or stylus use for intuitive input to suit any need. An optional stylus is always within reach, with a 15-second charge that provides enough power for 45 minutes of use.
Each model is ready for professional conferencing, with bi-directional AI noise cancellation that employs sophisticated machine learning techniques. The technology includes a bottom-up function to filter noise around the microphone and a top-down function to eliminate noise from the person on the other side of the conversation.
ASUS NumberPad is also optional on ExpertBook B5 or B5 Flip. This is an LED-illuminated numeric keypad that is perfect for number processing. Intelligent software allows you to control the mouse pointer, even when NumberPad is activated.
ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable
Designed for education and built for business, ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable (B3000) is the perfect 2-in-1 portable companion with long battery life for uninterrupted learning or remote work. It is also the first device with the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 computing platform, with an integrated stylus and pre-installed Windows 11 operating system.
B3 Detachable comes with the option of ExpertStand, a robust, easy-to-connect cover, and ExpertBoard, a complementary keyboard with a convenient 1.5mm key travel. The detachable, magnetic and smudge-repellent ExpertStand cover functions as a dual-orientation accessory, while ExpertBoard connects easily for instant and efficient input, meaning the Detachable B3 is as versatile as it is mobile. It can be used as a tablet or laptop; or positioned vertically or horizontally for viewing files or entertainment, making it ideal for online classes, studying, business meetings, movies and more.
An optional stylus is also included, making it easy to get every detail just right when drawing, taking notes or marking up documents. The built-in holder keeps the stylus handy and minimizes the chance of losing it, and a 15-second charge provides enough power for 45 minutes of use.
ASUS ExpertCenter D7 Series
The ASUS ExpertCenter series offers a wide range of configurations and price points for businesses of all sizes, from small and medium-sized offices to large enterprises. Specific models on display at CES 2022 are ExpertCenter D700SD (SFF), D700MD (mini-tower) and D700TD (tower), which feature the latest up to 12th generation Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 discrete graphics and 128GB of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM.
With a variety of smart designs and case sizes ranging from SFF to mini and full tower, ExpertCenter desktop PCs are ready to adapt to almost any environment or scenario, from remote work and content creation to manufacturing and retail setups. ExpertCenter D7 desktops have tool-less design features that simplify maintenance, eliminating the need for screwdrivers or specialized equipment. They are also designed for expansion, allowing them to evolve to meet the needs of growing businesses.
ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5
With a refreshed look, the 16-inch ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5 (CX5601) is a next-level convertible laptop. Its three-sided NanoEdge display has a 16:10 aspect ratio and fits more screen into the chassis for bright, fluid and expansive images, with more vertical space compared to traditional 16:9 panels. For maximum screen area and immersive viewing, the screen-to-body ratio is 87%, helping creators or students stay focused and inspired.
ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5 also offers the latest 12th generation Intel processor and dual-band WiFi 6E (802.11ax) including a new 6 GHz band for strong, stable signals and ultra-fast speeds, allowing users to upload online content in the blink of an eye. In addition, Intel vPro Platform and Chrome Enterprise or Education Upgrade can be added, allowing IT administrators to optimize cloud workflows and enterprise security or customize user experiences for teachers and students.
Four high-quality built-in speakers employ extra-large resonant chambers to generate high-fidelity audio that is on par with much larger laptops. This caliber of audio provides enhanced surround sound effects, helping to fully immerse the listener in music, movies and more.
All the equipment presented at CES 2022 will be arriving in Argentina between February and October of this year.
