Axis Communications Introduces its Latest Products to Strengthen its Solution Ecosystem

World’s first network strobe siren

Axis Communications announces the AXIS D4100-E Siren, the first of its kind, which helps deter intruders, ensure on-site security and improve operational efficiency with the power of light and sound. Integrated via VAPIX, MQTT or SIP, the device comes with various light and sound patterns to ensure the right level of protection for specific environments.

Different configurations can be created with white and RGBA lighting and preconfigured sounds. This highly customizable product can also be connected to an Axis audio solution with live or pre-recorded announcements to increase the level of deterrence. In addition, thanks to a simple web-based interface, it is easy to setup one device and copy and deploy the settings to other devices in the system.

New update for AXIS Audio Manager Pro

Managing an audio network system can be time-consuming and costly, as needs can change over time or unexpectedly. To address these challenges, a major software upgrade for AXIS Audio Manager Pro is being introduced for larger and more advanced systems and use cases.
New features include a web-based user interface, support for larger systems with a higher number of speakers (now supporting up to 5000 speakers and 100 zones) and SIP server support with trunking to PBX systems, as well as enhanced scheduling and volume control.

Compact, lightweight bullet cameras

New outdoor-ready bullet cameras offer excellence at an affordable price. With deep learning processing units, these cameras provide unique opportunities for analytics. In addition, with AXIS Object Analytics, they offer detection and classification of humans, vehicles and vehicle types, all tailored to specific needs.

AXIS M2036-LE offers Quad HD 1440p/ 4 MP and a 129° horizontal field of view, while AXIS M2035-LE offers HDTV in 1080p. AXIS M2035-LE is also available in two variants with a choice of lenses: a 3 mm wide lens with a 101° horizontal field of view for wide-area surveillance and an 8 mm tele lens with a 39° horizontal field of view for remote surveillance.

New multi-directional PTZ camera

New 15 MP multi-directional camera offers full situational awareness of indoor areas up to 400 m2 (4300 ft2). With three 5 MP sensors and a PTZ camera with 10x optical zoom and HDTV 1080p, it offers wide overviews and expanded details.

AXIS M5000-G PTZ offers wireless I/O connectivity with Z-Wave Plus devices. This means that the camera can communicate with up to six devices in a system configuration, e.g. via on/off commands. In addition, all Z-Wave information is transferred to the VMS and displayed as overlays in the video stream.
