Huawei Digital Power Latam Highlights the Potential of Smart Solar Energy Combined with Storage

At Intersolar South America 2022, held in São Paulo, Brazil, with special media coverage by ITware Latam, Huawei Digital Power Latin America President, Hery Wang, emphasized that the company "is committed to moving forward in the digitization of the energy sector and collaborating with industries to achieve carbon neutrality to build a better and more sustainable future."

From August 23 to 25, one of the main events of the industry in Latin America will be the setting for key discussions that will guide the trends of the renewable energy sector in the region.

Huawei, a global provider of infrastructure solutions and intelligent ICT devices, is participating in Intersolar South America, where it is presenting new technologies and solutions for the photovoltaic industry.

Hery Wang, together with global account director, Bruno Guerra; Solutions managers, Nelson Stanisci, and Roberto Valer; all of them from Huawei Brazil, are participating in the fair in order to show global trends and establish direct contact with customers in the country and Latin America.

“There is great potential in smart energy combined with storage technologies to drive the carbon reduction process,” Wang said. “Huawei is committed to moving forward in digitizing the energy sector and collaborating with industries to achieve carbon neutrality in order to build a better and more sustainable future,” the president said. In this regard, he added that more than 98% of distributed generation is solar and the trend is to grow more and more. “Distributed generation is the great ‘revolution’ of the electricity sector,” he stated.

In a tour hosted by Nelson Stanisci, ITware Latam visited Huawei’s stand, called “Smart PV and Storage: Anytime for Anyone”, where, in addition to holding meetings on cooperation and projects, the company will showcase new technologies and the power of solar energy combined with smart storage, which – he assured – will enable progress in the deployment of solar energy as a primary source. “This will make it possible for industries and households to benefit from clean electricity,” he stressed.

Roberto Valer participated in two conferences at the event: “Huawei Smart Inverters: main advantages for utility projects”, in the Green Pavilion: Innovation and Application Stage; and “Sting Smart Solution in FusionSolar Energy Storage”, which will take place today, from 4:00 pm to 4:15 pm, in the Innovation and Application Stage, also in the Green Pavilion.
