New Sales Managing Director brings a wealth of global experience and a blueprint to accelerate growth
As part of its ongoing efforts to optimize talent and invest in growth, Kodak Alaris has appointed Leonel Da Costa to the new role of Sales Managing Director for the Americas region, which includes both the United States & Canada and the Latin America regions. Da Costa has more than 25 years’ experience deploying growth strategies within the large enterprise and government segments and developing the type of new business opportunities that are critical to the company’s success.
According to Cássio Vaquero, Vice President of Global Sales at Kodak Alaris, “Leonel is a seasoned leader who understands the importance of maintaining stability while identifying opportunities to improve. By combining his experience with the expertise of our local sales teams, we’ll make significant progress against our profitable growth targets.”
Originally from Brazil where he earned a master’s degree from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM), Da Costa knows many of Kodak Alaris’ customers and partners across Latin America as well as the United States and Canada.
Over the past nine years, Da Costa has held senior leadership positions including Managing Director and Vice President & General Manager. He has had full P&L responsibility for businesses that generated more than $650 million annually, while delivering solutions to some of the largest banking and government customers in LATAM, China, Japan, and Australia.

The successful launch of our latest version of the INfuse Smart Connected Scanning Solution and the Kodak S2085f & S3000 Series Scanners are proof that we are committed to delivering award-winning solutions for a variety of industries and vertical markets,” said Da Costa.
In his new role, Da Costa is based at Kodak Alaris’ U.S. headquarters in Rochester, NY.
