The world was already experiencing increasingly rapid changes, but the pandemic accelerated this context even more and made technology a crucial tool, not only for business continuity but also to enable human connection. In this context, Oracle reinvents itself once again, simplifying its operations and business processes to better assist its customers in the necessary digital transformation.

For this purpose, it presented a new structure that groups under two large business units, Technology and Applications, areas that previously operated independently. The idea is to create multidisciplinary teams dedicated to providing a better service to clients, offering them comprehensive solutions that meet their specific needs and their state of digital maturity.

“We have seen how digital transformation projects that had a five-year planning have been carried out in a matter of months during the pandemic, and everything indicates that this is a trend that will continue,” said Luiz Meisler, executive vice president of Oracle Latin America. “That is why we are confident that during this new fiscal year we will achieve triple-digit growth in Latin America, continuing the good results of the year just ended where companies such as Sky, Grupo Bimbo, GNP Seguros, McDonalds (Arcos Dorados) and Mercado Libre, among many others, chose us.”

Technology

Technology organization will be led by Rodrigo Galvão, who has more than 18 years of experience in Oracle and headed the last 4 years of Oracle Brazil operation. This area will seek to make available the widest variety of technological solutions, at affordable prices and with the best performance, so that organizations of all sizes that make use of them can innovate faster and create disruptive solutions. In addition, under a multicloud vision, which allows customers to decide the best way to implement their cloud strategy with the freedom to complement providers when necessary.

Applications

The Argentine Adrian Durán will focus on the business platform for the new economy, leading the team that offers solutions such as ERP, HCM, CX, among others, all cloud-native and also with focus and specialization by industry. Oracle is the company with the most complete, flexible, and rapidly deployable integrated portfolio of cloud applications for companies of all sizes, and now it is also organized to offer verticalized solutions by industry. This move allows us to streamline the process of solving the challenges of each market segment so that people can live a comprehensive and hyper-personalized user experience.

This new organization results in comprehensive assistance aimed at improving the end-user experience of all the companies that have chosen Oracle and better team performance, facilitating the already inevitable journey to the cloud.

“Today we have the best solutions in our history and which, born in the cloud, have enabled impressive changes in our customers’ businesses, such as a 50% reduction in customer service time at TIM Brazil, with 30% less cost due to operational efficiency,” added Luiz Meisler.

Strategic changes in local leadership are also part of the plans for the new fiscal year and aim to provide a dynamic and diverse culture throughout its ecosystem.
