TD SYNNEX opens Center of Excellence in Latin America for the development of new technologies

The CoE is a collaborative project with IBM and is available to partners in the region to support them in cocreation of solutions and generation of new business opportunities for their clients.

TD SYNNEX announced the opening of the Center of Excellence (CoE) in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in collaboration with IBM. The CoE, is a competence center that offers business partners and companies in the region the opportunity to learn about and explore cutting-edge technologies for the sector, such as AI, data, automation, customized solutions and sustainability, which impact and solve business problems, In addition to having the necessary support during the sales cycle to market disruptive solutions. The center is now available to partners in Brazil and will soon be operational in the rest of the countries in LAC.

New technologies and constant support to business partners

With the expectations of growth and opportunities presented by the IT market in the region, The need to be prepared to respond efficiently to a challenging scenario also arises. In this respect, strategic skills development and training are essential.

The TD SYNNEX CoE is based in São Paulo, Brazil and has support points throughout the LAC region. It is supported by a multidisciplinary team focused on improving the capabilities of all business partners and driving their technical excellence. Areas of expertise include IBM software (data, artificial intelligence, business automation, business automation, IT and security), storage and Red Hat (Openshift, Ansible and RHEL).

For Álvaro Andrade, Director, Vendor Management of TD SYNNEX for the IBM and Red Hat brands in LAC, the CoE seeks to address with partners concerns related to the use of IBM technologies – The European Commission has recently published a study on the role of the EU in the field of telecommunications. “Providing a unique experience for partners is the CoE’s main objective. The CoE will be connected with the entire LAC region and TD SYNNEX is making significant investments in three pillars:

– First, the human resource. The centre has more than 25 professionals located in different countries of the region, The team includes a group of architects with a superior level of technical knowledge and extensive experience in developing solutions. In addition, the CoE is also supported by TD’s SYNNEX business development team who will work to connect business partners with IBM and Red Hat, The European Commission has published a report on the European Union’s research and development activities in the field of education. At the CoE, partners will have at their disposal support tools such as demonstration environments, reference cases, methodologies, proof of concept, among others, to support sales and drive MVP performance.

– The second pillar is the physical centre itself. The CoE is located in São Paulo, where TD SYNNEX partners will be able to work together with IBM professionals in the region. The Center of Excellence will be connected to all TD SYNNEX sites in Latin America and the Caribbean through remote pods, The partners will have access to all resources available at the São Paulo Centre. Business partners will be supported by a team of specialized professionals, The European Commission has also made a number of recommendations to the Council and to the Member States.

– The third pillar of this investment is a solid marketing structure. By promoting various events and activities, the CoE seeks to support the development of new business partners, The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a report on the Fifth Framework Programme for Research and Development.
