Customers will be able to further refine these models using their own data with techniques recovery augmented generation (RAG) that allow models to understand their specific internal operations.

Now available in beta, OCI Generative AI Agents service with RAG agent combines the power of LLM and enterprise search based on OCI Open Search to provide contextualized and enhanced results with business data. This agent Allows users to interact with various enterprise data sources through natural language without the need for specialized knowledge.

The information retrieved is current, even with dynamic data stores, and the results areprovided with references to the source data. The initial beta version supports OCI OpenSearch. Future versions will support a broader range of search and data aggregation tools and will provide access to Oracle Database 23c with AI Vector Search and MySQL HeatWave with Vector Store.

Oracle will also offer predefined agent actions in its suite of SaaS applications, from Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite and Oracle NetSuite to industry applications like Oracle Cerner.
